Overview

We are looking for Merchandisers in the Newcastle City Centre area.

Approx 8 - 10 hours per week* (However likely to increase during busy periods). £15.07 p/h PAYE including holiday pay. Start within 2 weeks after onboarding and training with long-term, ongoing work available (Flexible to suit you). Use of a car is essential.

Ideal location: Newcastle City Centre, United Kingdom, NE1

Territory covering: Newcastle City Centre (you will be required to cover stores within 5 miles of here) and surrounding.

Responsibilities

  • Visit a mix of high street, grocery, and convenience stores to complete merchandising tasks, audits, and set up point-of-sale (POS) materials.
  • Merchandise products in line with agreed planograms.
  • Make sure as much stock as possible is out on shelves to help drive sales and keep displays looking great.
  • Arrange and top up products on shelves and displays so they’re eye-catching and easy for customers to find.
  • Where possible, negotiate extra display space to help boost sales.
  • Some stock moving and lifting may be involved from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Ideally, experience in retail or merchandising - health & beauty experience is desired but not essential!
  • Someone reliable, adaptable, and happy working independently.
  • Confident talking to store staff and building good in-store relationships.
  • Takes pride in their work.
  • Use your own car, as you may need to carry promotional materials or small displays (these may be delivered and stored to your home).
  • Use of a phone or tablet to complete reporting on our app - this includes sending clear photos and sharing useful feedback.
