We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Co-ordinator to join the Proposition Team, supporting Asda's in-store and online events programme. Reporting into the In-Store Events Proposition Manager, you'll work cross-functionally with internal teams and key agency partners to ensure events are planned, aligned and delivered to a high standard. You'll play a key role in coordinating event activity, managing timelines and RACI milestones, and producing engaging sales collateral that supports Asda's brand, commercial objectives and customer engagement strategy.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support end-to-end planning and delivery of Asda events across in-store and online channels, including seasonal campaigns and key calendar moments.
- Coordinate event packs, ensuring content is accurate, engaging and delivered within agreed timelines.
- Work closely with SMG and media planning teams to track FMCG brand opportunities, budgets and event visibility.
- Maintain trackers for in-store and online event activity.
- Create post-event wrap-up decks, including performance insights and learnings to inform future events.
- Manage the photography agency relationship, ensuring activity stays within scope and budget.
- Brief creative teams and agencies on in-store and online mock-ups in line with timelines.
- Support quarterly Merchant's Den pitch days, including logistics and coordination.
- Ensure all activity aligns with Asda's brand guidelines and values.
Qualifications
- Experience in an events, marketing or coordination role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at pace.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and confidence working to deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Creative mindset with a passion for delivering engaging experiences.
- Collaborative, proactive team player and also can work on own initiative.
Hybrid working with an expectation to work on-site at Asda House 3 days across Monday to Friday and work outside standard hours may be required.
