Working for CPM on behalf of Samsung, this Senior Account Manager tackles all the challenges that come with managing clients and teams of people, running projects, and being the client’s main day‑to‑day CPM contact – the person they rely on to go the extra mile and get things done. You’ll need a thorough understanding of how the CPM client service process operates to successfully deliver. Previous experience of working with clients in a field marketing agency is essential. Familiarity with the grocery or FMCG sector is required. Ideal location: Stokenchurch, United Kingdom (HP14). Flexibility on location, hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop client relationships through regular meetings to review performance, both financial and against KRA’s.
  • Train and develop direct reports to build a high‑performing team culture.
  • Identify new business opportunities and prepare proposals with line manager to add value to client operations and extend service.
  • Monitor and control budget, ensuring sales and profit targets are met.
  • Brief correct head office departments timely to develop client objectives and ensure internal process adherence.
  • Collaborate across divisions and accounts with various stakeholders within CPM.
  • Assist with new business pitches and create pitch documents and tender responses for existing and new clients.
  • Maintain and develop systems to measure achievement of objectives, including appropriate level of field accompaniment and auditing.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous Account Management experience in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering results and managing a high‑performing team.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills with clients and teams.
  • Organised, driven, analytical & commercially aware.
  • Knowledge of the grocery or FMCG sector.

Compensation

Up to £65.5k DOE, plus bonus and car allowance. Benefits include Pension, Private Medical Insurance, 26 days holiday (rising to 31 days), flexible benefits.
