We’re looking for a commercially minded Client Service Executive to play a key role within our Diageo Grocery team. This is a high-profile, account-focused role that sits at the heart of client delivery, supporting Diageo stakeholders, guiding field leadership, and turning insight into action.

What You’ll Do

  • Owning day-to-day account activity, ensuring delivery against agreed KPIs and commercial priorities across the Diageo Grocery channel
  • Acting as a key point of contact for Diageo stakeholders, supporting planning cycles, performance reviews and commercial discussions
  • Providing clear direction, coaching and performance feedback to Regional Sales Managers, helping improve field delivery, coverage and data quality
  • Analysing grocery field data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, investigating anomalies and recommending improvements
  • Delivering clear, concise and actionable performance updates to internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Working cross-functionally with CPM operational, insight and reporting teams to ensure smooth, commercially focused account delivery

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Proven experience within Grocery / Off-Trade retail (manufacturer, retailer or agency)
  • Experience supporting or managing others, with confidence setting direction and giving feedback
  • Strong commercial and analytical capability, comfortable interrogating complex data
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint capability
  • Confidence challenging performance and proposing solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • A proactive, resilient mindset with a passion for continuous improvement

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience working with major grocery retailers (e.g. Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons, discounters)
  • Agency experience within FMCG, retail execution or insight
  • Knowledge of call file optimisation, coverage models or field effectiveness
  • Experience contributing to account reviews and performance decks

Hours: 9am-5.30pm Mon-Fri. The role requires some activity outside of normal working hours and or weekend working. This may include staying away from home and working unsociable hours occasionally.
