CPM is looking for a Sales Development Executive to join our new team representing Haleon within the grocery retail sector. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week. Location: Newport, United Kingdom, NP10. Territory covering: Bath, Bristol, Gloucester, Cardiff, Forest of Dean, Hereford, Newport, Gwent Valleys, Swansea, Swindon and surrounding areas. A driver’s licence that enables you to drive in the UK is essential.
Products include market-leading healthcare brands such as Sensodyne, Advil, and Centrum. This role involves driving product availability, visibility and compliance in-store through merchandising, promotional activations, and strong retailer relationships.
Responsibilities- Execute in-store activities including merchandising, POS implementation, promotional displays, and FSDU builds to maximise brand visibility and sales.
- Complete scheduled store visits in line with client briefs, KPIs, and compliance standards, capturing accurate data and insights.
- Build strong relationships with store managers and colleagues to secure incremental opportunities and enhance brand presence.
- Manage your own territory effectively, demonstrating strong organisation, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Adapt to changing campaign requirements and identify opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
- Represent the company and client with integrity, professionalism, and a results-driven mindset.
- Confident using smartphone apps, including photo upload and reporting tools.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Adaptable, reliable, and results driven.
- Previous field merchandising, retail, or sales experience and/or experience working within grocery or FMCG environments would be advantageous but not essential.
- Experience working in a data led environment, using reporting and analytics to optimise results.
- Salary: £28,000 Plus 10% Bonus.
