Job Description
We are looking for Merchandisers in the Ayr area. Approx 2‑4 hours per week (may increase during busy periods).
£15.07 p/h PAYE, including holiday pay.
Start within 2 weeks after onboarding and training. Flexible working Monday–Sunday with fixed days: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.
Use of a car is essential.
Responsibilities
- Visit a mix of high street, grocery, and convenience stores to complete merchandising tasks, audits, and set up point‑of‑sale (POS) materials.
- Navigate fixtures (e. g. gondolas, bays, shelving) confidently.
- Merchandise products in line with agreed planograms.
- Ensure as much stock as possible is on shelves to drive sales and keep displays attractive.
- Arrange and top‑up products on shelves and displays to be eye‑catching and easy for customers to find.
- When possible, negotiate extra display space to boost sales.
- Move and lift stock from time to time.
Qualifications
- Experience in retail or merchandising, preferably in Boots, department stores, or premium beauty chains.
- Available Monday–Sunday, with fixed visits on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently.
- Confident communicating with store staff and building good in‑store relationships.
- Take pride in work quality.
- Use own car to carry promotional materials or small displays (may be delivered and stored at home).
- Use phone or tablet to complete reporting on the app (send clear photos and provide useful feedback).
