Power into a great new career as a Brand Ambassador! Do you have a passion for engaging with customers and building relationships with businesses? If so, this could be the role for you! You will represent Stanley Black & Decker and DeWalt, one of the world’s leading providers for power tools and power tool accessories. Earn £32,000 plus 10% bonus STC, a company car and equipment (tools and merchandise). This is a permanent, full‑time position with 37.5 hours per week.

Location & Territory

Ideal location: Maidstone, United Kingdom, ME14. Territory covering: South East UK. National travel may be required. Some flexibility may be applied to cover weekend events, which may be high‑profile. Some calls do require an early start to allow for travel.

Responsibilities

  • Visit builders’ merchants, electrical wholesalers and specialist trade outlets throughout the territory as the ambassador for Stanley and DeWalt, raising awareness and engaging with trade counter staff and professional end users.
  • Positively influence the distribution, availability and visibility of all SBD products, working closely with branch teams to maximise opportunities, maintain strong product presence and support local sales initiatives.
  • Actively demonstrate the products, their features and benefits and engage people with the brand.
  • Deliver clear and engaging training to branch teams and end users, ensuring Stanley Black & Decker and DeWalt remain the brands of choice within the trade sector.
  • Build strong working relationships with branch managers, trade counter teams and key decision makers, educating them on the product range and helping increase sales and recommendation of SBD products.
  • Attend and support key trade events, exhibitions and customer trade days throughout the year.
  • Consistently identify, execute and influence local branch initiatives to increase visibility, awareness and sales of both brands.
  • Identify potential opportunities for additional sales and influence relevant stakeholders to implement them.

Qualifications & Preferences

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with trade professionals, business owners, branch teams and customers.
  • Confidence in demonstrating products and delivering engaging training sessions (full product training is provided).
  • Interest in tools, construction, DIY or trade environments and excitement to become an expert in the Stanley Black & DeWalt product ranges.
  • Self‑starter able to work independently and share great ideas.
  • Driving licence and willingness to travel on the road.
  • Looking for a full‑time role Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work for exhibitions, trade shows and customer events.
