As one of the country’s leading retailers, Asda is looking for an In‑Store Marketing Coordinator to manage the end‑to‑end delivery of impactful in‑store communications that engage customers and support commercial objectives.
Ideal Location: Leeds, United Kingdom, LS2 – you will be based at Asda House with a hybrid schedule (Monday and Friday mandatory in‑office; one day visiting stores).
Salary: £26,000 per annum plus a bonus scheme in operation (STC).
Responsibilities:
- Ensure correct allocation of point‑of‑sale materials to stores based on region and promotion, sign off on artwork, and produce weekly guides for stores on promotional displays.
- Manage promotional cycles that change every four weeks, coordinating with trading categories to gather promotion details and create briefs for printers.
- Act as the In‑Store Marketing Communicator with a primary focus on ambient promotions across core grocery, impulse grocery, beers, wines and spirits, non‑edible grocery, and health and beauty categories.
- Coordinate the promotional process across all ambient categories, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Oversee the critical path management with all stakeholders to guarantee activities are delivered right the first time.
- Write clear and concise artwork and print briefs for agencies, managing relationships to ensure cost‑effective and high‑quality outputs with minimal amendments.
- Support the Business Partner by understanding category strategies and customer targets to develop in‑store communications that align with Asda’s brand and communication principles.
- Ensure adherence to approval processes, including securing necessary sign‑offs from legal and other relevant teams.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Customer Design, Commercial Business Units, and Retail Leadership to facilitate smooth delivery of communications.
- Conduct local store visits as needed to support implementation and maintain strong relationships across teams and agencies.
Requirements:
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and critical paths effectively.
