Overview
CPM is looking for an experienced Campaign Executive to join an existing team in Leeds delivering the Asda Sampling, Experiential & Events programme. This is a permanent contract, starting asap. £27,000 per annum DOE. Hybrid working available with three days per week required in the office. Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Ideal Location: Leeds, United Kingdom, LS2.
This is a fast-paced and dynamic role supporting the delivery of brand activations that we manage for our Asda client. The role requires you to coordinate branded sampling campaigns from brief to implementation, support the planning and delivery of experiential campaigns and events, and complete project administration. You will work as part of a team and follow established processes, support process improvement, and liaise with 3rd party suppliers and agencies.
What you will be doing
- Take briefs for sampling activations in Asda and manage them through to execution ensuring everything and everyone is in the right place at the right time to deliver.
- Provide support to Account Manager on larger experiential activations and event projects.
- Coordinate input from 3rd party suppliers and agencies in relation to the delivery of sampling and experiential activations and maintain good relationships and service levels with and for those suppliers and partners.
- Follow established processes to ensure best practice with campaign delivery and support the team to enhance and refine these processes.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams across client, activation, staffing, and business intelligence to seamlessly deliver sampling and experiential activations.
- Follow project plans for activities to ensure that tasks are completed ahead of deadlines to keep activities on the critical path and update detail across wider project plans including updating kit lists, timing plans, and risk registers.
- Manage delivery of any space-only bookings once sign off, checking and approving required documentation, space etc.
- Answer client and supplier queries relating to specific campaigns and activities.
- Track activity spend on specific campaigns and activations.
- Support with sourcing costs for kit and materials and contributing to proposals.
- Ensure best practice around back-office housekeeping, process, admin, and systems related to sampling and experiential.
- Visit stores to see activations come to life and to work with our event managers and brand ambassadors to understand challenges they face so that we can continually improve.
- Occasionally visit our logistics partners and production warehouse to understand their processes that support our activity, to foster collaboration, and to identify improvements to process and ways of working.
Key experience needed
- At least one year of experience in a similar marketing, events, or campaign activation role.
- Retail or agency background within shopper marketing preferred but not essential.
- Experience working within sampling, experiential, brand activation, or events preferred but not essential.
- A logical thinker with an eye for detail and quality assurance.
- Strong organisational skills, and able to demonstrate working across multiple campaigns and activities simultaneously.
- Able to work under pressure and respond to last minute briefs/requests that are often delivered on a short lead time.
- Personable, with the ability to build a good rapport with a range of stakeholders, but also confident and able to hold people to account and deadlines.
- A creative flair, while also being pragmatic, and solutions focused would be hugely advantageous in this role.
