How to prepare for a job interview at CPM UK
✨Know Your POS
Before the interview, brush up on your knowledge of point of sale (POS) systems and merchandising. Be ready to discuss any previous experience you have in placing POS and how you ensured everything was displayed correctly. This will show that you understand the role and can hit the ground running.
✨Show Off Your Communication Skills
Since you'll be liaising with store colleagues, it's crucial to demonstrate your communication skills during the interview. Think of examples where you've built relationships or resolved issues in a work setting. This will highlight your ability to work well with others in-store.
✨Be Ready for Practical Questions
Expect questions about how you'd handle specific scenarios, like what you would do if the POS wasn't delivered on time or how you'd manage placing items at height. Prepare some thoughtful responses that showcase your problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
✨Familiarise Yourself with the App
Since you'll be using an app to report your visits, it’s a good idea to familiarise yourself with similar app-based systems. If possible, download a few apps and practice navigating them. This will help you feel more confident discussing your tech skills during the interview.
