Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently? Do you enjoy visiting customer sites, building professional relationships and ensuring accuracy in your work? We are recruiting an Auditor to work on behalf of Chep. Β£19.50 per call plus all business mileage.

Ideal location:

Leicester, United Kingdom, LE1

Territory covering:

Leicester, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Ibstock, Markfield and Nottingham and surrounding areas

CPM is looking for a CHEP Asset Auditor to carry out independent physical audits of CHEP equipment across a designated territory. This is a field-based role where you'll be responsible for verifying customer asset holdings, identifying discrepancies and providing accurate reporting that supports effective asset management.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working autonomously, travelling within their region and engaging with a wide variety of customer environments, including retail, distribution and manufacturing sites.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conduct scheduled physical audits of CHEP equipment at customer locations.
  • Accurately count and verify assets and identify and document discrepancies between physical stock and available records.
  • Effectively plan travel, site visits and appointments across your assigned territory.
  • Build positive working relationships with stakeholders across retail, distribution, manufacturing and operational environments.
  • Handle objections, access challenges and sensitive conversations professionally and confidently.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a busy travel schedule.
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of collecting, recording and reporting information accurately.
  • Comfortable working in operational environments such as warehouses, distribution centres or manufacturing sites.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.

Desirable Experience

  • Audit, stock control, inventory management or asset verification experience.
  • Experience working in field-based roles.
  • Knowledge of logistics, supply chain or operational environments.
