Reporting to the Engineering Team Manager, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Team Member at our Pollington site.

Responsibilities

In this role, you\\\'ll handle both planned and reactive maintenance to keep downtime to a minimum. You\\\'ll work with conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and general mechanical fitting. Key tasks include preventative maintenance, fault-finding, basic welding, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. If you\\\'re a team player with a hands-on approach and a commitment to meeting production targets, health and safety, and continuous improvement, we’d love to hear from you!

Qualifications

  • Mechanical fitting with good knowledge of conveyor belts, drives, gearboxes and couplings general mechanical equipment
  • Good knowledge of Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems is essential
  • Routine Preventative Maintenance so an understanding of a PPM schedule is advantageous
  • Finding and fixing faults quickly and effectively
  • Basic welding and fabrication skills advantageous
  • Basic Electrical knowledge would be advantageous
  • Workshop and Stores housekeeping to maintain company standards
  • Working as part of a team in a busy manufacturing factory to ensure production targets are met
  • Complete risk assessments & sptw’s when requested
  • Working to a high standard in health and safety, striving to make site improvements with energy, health and safety and quality
