As our organisation accelerates its digital transformation we are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking IT Transition & Test Lead, someone ready to make an immediate impact and shape the future of our quality assurance landscape.

As the IT Transition & Test Lead, you will lead the charge in defining how quality is embedded into every stage of our software development process. From setting up world-class testing strategies to enabling and driving automation and fostering collaboration across development teams, your leadership will ensure we deliver robust, user-centric digital solutions that support business goals.
Responsibilities:–
- Lead & Inspire: Work with architects and engineers to establish a collaborative, high-performance QA team culture
- Design Strategy: Build and execute test frameworks and QA processes tailored to business needs
- Plan Testing: Create and oversee test plans, scripts, and cases that cover all critical functionality
- Release testing: Responsible for testing of production environments in our release schedule
- Champion Automation: Identify and implement automation tools to enhance speed and accuracy
- Measure Quality: Define KPIs and metrics to monitor and improve software performance
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with development and operations to ensure a seamless end-to-end development lifecycle
- Solve Problems Fast: Detect, triage and track bugs—keeping everyone informed along the way
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Promote best-in-class QA practices and innovative tools to raise the bar
- Report Insights: Share clear, actionable testing results with leadership and stakeholders
Mission-critical skills
We’re looking for a skilled professional who brings: - A track record of leading QA efforts in complex technical environments, with a hands-on approach to both strategy and execution.
- Deep knowledge of testing methodologies, including both manual and automated approaches.
- Experience with industry testing tools, Azure DevOps test management and working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall development models.
- Proven & Effective Leadership and communication expertise, with the ability to inspire teams and influence across functions.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement.
- A relevant academic background (such as Computer Science or Information Technology) and professional certifications in QA (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are desirable.
