I’m currently supporting a client in the life sciences/manufacturing space who are looking for an experienced GxP IT Project Portfolio & Service Manager to join their team. This is a hands-on, site-facing role focused on delivering IT projects and services within a regulated (GxP) environment.
The Role
- Managing a portfolio of IT projects in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Leading delivery of system implementations, upgrades, and changes
- Ensuring compliance with GxP standards (including validation activities)
- Acting as a key interface between IT, Quality, and Manufacturing teams
- Overseeing IT services and continuous improvement initiatives at site level
What They’re Looking For
- Strong experience in IT project/delivery management
- Experience working in GxP-regulated environments (e.g. GMP, CSV)
- Background supporting manufacturing or site-based systems (e.g. MES, ERP, shop floor systems)
- Hands-on approach to delivery (not just governance)
- Ability to manage stakeholders across IT, Quality, and Operations
Nice to Have
- Experience with computer system validation (CSV)
- Knowledge of regulated manufacturing environments (pharma, biotech, medical devices)
- Familiarity with audit and compliance processes
