A highly established, multi-site manufacturing organisation with a strong UK, Irish & international footprint is seeking an experienced Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of sourcing strategy, supplier performance, and end-to-end procurement activity. This is a senior, commercially critical role with real influence across production, logistics, finance, and operations, ideal for someone who enjoys driving structure, value, and data-led decision-making in a complex environment.
DUTIES:
- Reporting into senior leadership, you will lead procurement and supply chain activity across both CAPEX and OPEX spend, while strengthening systems, controls, and cross-functional working.
- Developing and delivering procurement & supply chain strategies aligned to business goals.
- Leading high-value negotiations across fleet, equipment, raw materials and services.
- Managing supplier relationships, contracts, SLAs, and performance reviews.
- Driving cost efficiencies and value creation across multiple business units.
- Owning ERP systems, KPI reporting, and management information for leadership teams.
- Working closely with Finance, Production, Warehousing and Stores to ensure operational continuity.
- Overseeing purchase orders, inventory control, and delivery performance.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements (e.g. CBAM, UKIMS, customs, Scope 3).
PERSON SPEC:
You’ll be a commercially astute procurement professional who can influence at all levels and bring clarity and discipline to complex supply chains. You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in a Procurement / Supply Chain management role, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong commercial judgement and negotiation capability.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, data analysis and performance reporting.
- A track record of driving change and improving ways of working.
- A third-level qualification (or equivalent practical experience).
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
