An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and hands-on Quality Manager to join a growing manufacturing company. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product and process quality across operations, maintaining compliance with ISO standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the quality strategy, policies, and procedures in line with ISO and customer standards
- Design, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Conduct internal and external audits and ensure ongoing ISO compliance
- Manage non-conformances, CAPA, NCRs, and corrective action processes
- Lead quality investigations using tools such as 8D, FMEA, and PPAP
- Analyse quality data, report performance metrics, and identify improvement opportunities
- Chair quality meetings and produce quality documentation and customer reports
- Manage customer complaints, warranty issues, and supplier quality performance
- Support new product introductions to ensure robust quality outcomes
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years experience in a Quality Manager or senior Quality role within engineering/manufacturing
- Previous auditing experience
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
- Experience managing CAPA, NCRs, and quality reporting
- Proficiency in quality tools including FMEA, PPAP, and 8D
