CPL Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with our client for a Bid Writer on a permanent full-time basis, based in Co. Tyrone.
Our client: A multiple award-winning business with over 40 years in construction, delivering medium and large-scale developments to public and private sector clients across the Island of Ireland and the UK.
The role: With a full copy of the Job Spec available on request, the Bid Writer will:
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to plan, write, and develop bids from early PQQ stage through to the final submission.
- Play a vital part in shaping proposals and producing clear, professional client-facing documents and presentations.
- Join a supportive team environment where cooperation, communication, and shared knowledge help drive strong bid outcomes.
The person:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering complex bids, preparing high-quality PQQs and tender proposals, submissions for construction or civil engineering projects.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and skilled in creating clear, professional presentation materials, IT and presentation tool proficiency and an ability to create engaging and professional bid content.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and committed to producing strong, competitive bids.
- Confident communicator with clear, effective written and verbal skills.
- Strong organiser, able to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Careful and precise, with excellent attention to detail and a focus on producing accurate, high-quality submissions.
- Works well both independently and as part of a team, with a positive and collaborative approach.
