An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company, supporting advanced production processes within a modern, state-of-the-art facility. This role is critical to ensuring efficient, high-quality manufacturing of complex components, while driving process improvements, automation, and operational excellence across engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing methods and provide cell support
- Design and specify tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering operations
- Assess and scope new work across post-machining and finishing processes
- Define and maintain process flows for new and existing products
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and change management activities
- Create and maintain BOMs, technical instructions, and process documentation
- Identify and introduce technical innovations and improvements
- Provide technical support to Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
- Support customer requirements and respond to technical queries
Requirements
- HNC/HND (Level 3+) in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer in an engineering or production environment
- Experience in at least one of the following: anodising, bonding, surface treatments, painting, assembly, or automated spraying
- Experience within aerospace or a similarly regulated industry
Additional Information
- Roles may be subject to security and export control restrictions
- Employment will be conditional upon successful BPSS screening
