This role is for one of our top clients in the entertainment technology space. The duration is 12 months, with a possible permanent role after. The ideal location is London, UK, but the role is very remote with occasional office visits.

This critical vacancy fills the need for a single on-the-ground PR owner in EMEA, addressing fragmented agency execution, inconsistent prioritization, and limited real-time decision-making. The 9+ hour time-zone gap creates operational risks; without local ownership, real-time PR decisions, issue response, agency management, and KPI oversight are delayed, impacting speed and accountability. Without a centralized EMEA lead, the brand has limited visibility into PR performance and ROI across European markets, with reporting and KPIs varying significantly by agency and country.

This role enables the successful rollout and adoption of global PR KPIs in EMEA, establishing clear accountability for results rather than diffuse, agency-led reporting. It provides leadership with reliable, comparable performance data across markets, supporting smarter prioritization, risk management, and future investment decisions. Designed as a near-term stabilization role with flexibility to convert to permanent once performance, structure, and value are proven.

Role scope and responsibilities:

  • Serve as the day-to-day PR owner for EMEA, acting as the connective tissue between global strategy and regional execution.
  • Oversee and coordinate all EMEA PR agencies by country, ensuring consistent messaging, timelines, standards, and quality of output.
  • Make real-time prioritization decisions across launches, narrative development, issues management, and reactive opportunities.
  • Drive execution against global frameworks while preserving regional nuance and momentum.
  • Act as the primary EMEA point of contact for Global PR, ensuring tight alignment on strategy, messaging, planning, and reporting.
  • Provide ongoing visibility into performance, risks, and opportunities across the region to support global planning and KPI tracking.
  • Act as the real-time PR decision-maker during EMEA business hours, ensuring issues, opportunities, and agency activity are addressed without delay.
