We are recruiting a Quality Control Inspector to join a manufacturing environment on a day shift basis. This role is key to ensuring manufactured products meet required quality standards while supporting continuous improvement across production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure inspection, monitoring, and measurement equipment is suitable, calibrated, and validated prior to use
  • Liaise with Engineering to clarify inspection and testing requirements
  • Support Goods Inwards inspection of raw materials, components, and associated documentation
  • Carry out in-process and final inspection of manufactured components
  • Monitor production activity to ensure adherence to procedures
  • Accept or reject components in line with drawings, specifications, and relevant standards
  • Accurately record inspection and test results and communicate findings when requested
  • Maintain product traceability and compliance with quality requirements
  • Develop best practice and support new inspection techniques in collaboration with Quality Engineers
  • Support FAIR / PPAP submissions

Essential

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or quality-controlled environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Competent using manual inspection equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies such as 8D, PDCA, 5 Why, Pareto, 5S, and control plans is desirable
