Facilities and Maintenance Technician Electrical Lisburn Monday to Friday - Days Salary £40,000

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to provide an effective maintenance and repair service across the site. The role focuses on minimising breakdowns and downtime while maximising operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out a comprehensive programme of planned preventative maintenance across buildings, plant, and utilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on facilities including air conditioning, air compressors, fire alarms, emergency lighting, batteries, lighting, power systems, heating, plumbing, and joinery
  • Complete all maintenance logs, schedules, and records accurately and on time in line with health & safety, insurance, and ISO requirements
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for plant and equipment
  • Undertake minor mechanical, plumbing, and joinery repairs to buildings and utilities
  • Carry out modifications to work benches and assist with installation of new equipment
  • Ensure quality procedures related to maintenance are adhered to, including calibration requirements
  • Review maintenance processes and procedures and suggest continuous improvements
  • Carry out P.A.T. testing
  • Install and maintain electrical systems

Essential Criteria:

  • Time-served electrician with 17th or 18th Edition certification
  • Proven experience as a Facilities / Maintenance Technician or in a similar role maintaining building services
  • Experience with P.A.T. testing
  • Minor plumbing skills
