Location: Glasgow (5 days onsite)

Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their Software Engineering team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate in their Delivery Unit.

Responsibilities

  • Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure by applying your knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment, cloud technologies, container orchestration, and security.
  • Build and test end-to-end continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines while ensuring that systems remain secure against potential threats.
  • Collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.
  • Take responsibility for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Develop and optimize infrastructure automation to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
  • Support and guide team members by sharing expertise and best practices in continuous integration and delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment challenges.
  • Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance security and scalability.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of innovative solutions that align with organizational goals and industry standards.

Experience & Skills

  • SME
  • Advanced proficiency in Infrastructure Service Incident Management
  • Intermediate proficiency in SRE Observability
  • Intermediate proficiency in Configuration & Release Management
  • Intermediate proficiency in Cloud Automation DevOps
  • Knowledge of continuous integration, delivery and deployment.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, container orchestration and security.
