CPL Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an Estimator on a permanent full-time basis, based in Ballymena with a salary from £40,000 per year and staff benefits package. Please note you must have aCivil/Structural Engineering or Construction related degree. Our client: Over 40 years in business, working on multi-million projects in the private and public sectors. A world class and established manufacturer of concrete that supplies to a wide range of customers throughout Ireland and the UK in Civil & Commercial, Building and Agriculture. Award winning, with deep ties and commitment to the local community. The role: With a full copy of the Job Spec available on request, the Estimator will: Work alongside the Civils team with an eye on maximising sales opportunities and convert these into orders while meeting set KPIs. Support the Lead Estimator and be responsible for calculation of construction cost estimates. Be involved in the planning, development, negotiation and award of a project. Represent the company trade shows and client visits as required. The person: Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction related degree. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including negotiation and influencing skills. Ability to interpret drawings and engineering information. Demonstrable experience in estimating and providing excellent customer service. Effective in project management and exceeding customer expectations. Evidence of the ability to achieve/exceed business objectives. Strong planning and organisational skills. Strong program management experience in managing customer programmes from tender stage to delivery. IT proficiency including MS Office suite. On offer: Salary from £40,000 per year.
