An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lean Transformation Engineer to support site-wide continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role will play a key part in embedding lean principles and delivering measurable improvements in productivity, quality, cost, and delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy lean processes aligned with business and operational objectives
  • Champion lean methodologies including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, and Visual Management
  • Analyse manufacturing, fabrication, and business support processes to identify waste, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies
  • Lead cross-functional improvement projects to optimise throughput, reduce lead times, and improve quality
  • Establish KPIs, dashboards, and governance structures to track performance and sustain improvements
  • Coach and support managers and supervisors in adopting new ways of working
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to implement process enhancements
  • Develop and maintain process documentation including SOPs, workflows, and training materials

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in an Engineering related subject
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools and data analysis software
