We are working with a well-established accountancy practice seeking a Part-Qualified or Newly Qualified Accountant to join their supportive and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a friendly practice, working with a varied client portfolio and gaining exposure across accounts, tax, and business advisory services.

Duties:

  • Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients.
  • Assisting with the preparation of management accounts.
  • Preparing VAT returns and Self-Assessment tax returns.
  • Supporting with Capital Gains Tax computations.
  • Building strong client relationships and providing day-to-day support.
  • Assisting with Payroll, CIS, and HMRC correspondence where required.

Criteria:

  • Part-qualified, or recently qualified.
  • Ideally 2-3 years' experience within an accountancy practice.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and cloud accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Eager to continue developing your technical knowledge and progress your career.
