I’m currently recruiting for a Compliance Monitoring & Testing Associate to join a leading global technology and financial services business in London. This is an opportunity to join an independent oversight function responsible for assessing whether compliance processes and controls are appropriately designed and operating effectively.

The role will involve:

  • Conducting risk-based compliance monitoring and testing reviews
  • Covering AML/CFT, Sanctions and broader regulatory compliance
  • Planning, executing and reporting on CMT reviews
  • Supporting root cause analysis and remediation plans
  • Tracking and validating remediation activity
  • Identifying emerging regulatory and compliance risks
  • Working closely with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Internal Audit and business stakeholders

We're looking for:

  • 4+ years' experience in Compliance Monitoring & Testing and/or Internal Audit
  • Strong experience testing compliance controls within financial services
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management practices
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and written communication skills
  • Experience across a range of financial products or services
  • A degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline

Particularly useful:

  • Experience with MiCA, AML, Sanctions, financial crime, regulatory assurance, data analysis or third-party testing.
  • Professional qualifications such as CAMS, CIA, CISA, CRCM or CICA are also welcome.
