An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company. This role will be responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
- Carry out effective maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment
- Develop, maintain, and implement planned preventative maintenance schedules
- Ensure all equipment remains safe, operational, and compliant with relevant legislation
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation in line with quality, safety, and environmental standards
- Work collaboratively with production teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide technical support, knowledge sharing, and engineering expertise across the business
- Identify and implement technical solutions to enhance manufacturing processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the production of high-quality products
- Promote high standards of housekeeping and safe working practices
- Comply with environmental and energy policies and procedures
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering
- Time-served Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineer
- Previous experience within an industrial maintenance environment
- Proven fault-finding and repair experience within a manufacturing setting
- Experience carrying out preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Experience in a CNC environment would be desirable
