An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company. This role will be responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Carry out effective maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment
  • Develop, maintain, and implement planned preventative maintenance schedules
  • Ensure all equipment remains safe, operational, and compliant with relevant legislation
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation in line with quality, safety, and environmental standards
  • Work collaboratively with production teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide technical support, knowledge sharing, and engineering expertise across the business
  • Identify and implement technical solutions to enhance manufacturing processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the production of high-quality products
  • Promote high standards of housekeeping and safe working practices
  • Comply with environmental and energy policies and procedures

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering
  • Time-served Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineer
  • Previous experience within an industrial maintenance environment
  • Proven fault-finding and repair experience within a manufacturing setting
  • Experience carrying out preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
  • Experience in a CNC environment would be desirable
