The Role
As IT Project Manager, you'll lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of technology projects across the business, working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of IT projects from initiation through to implementation and handover.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk registers.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Monitor project progress, reporting on milestones, budgets, and performance.
- Champion best practice project management methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
You'll ideally have
- Proven experience delivering IT projects in a commercial environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- A recognised project management qualification (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile PM or equivalent) would be advantageous.
- Experience within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or other regulated industries is desirable but not essential.
