An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading global manufacturer. This position will play a key role in delivering new product introductions, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic engineering projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the introduction of new products and manufacturing processes
- Implement process design and quality requirements in line with APQP and PPAP standards
- Identify, procure, and coordinate installation of tooling, equipment, and capital projects
- Apply Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) principles throughout product development
- Liaise with internal teams and customers to translate technical requirements into manufacturing solutions
- Ensure all new products and processes meet health & safety requirements
- Develop and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and routing for costing purposes
- Coordinate and implement complex engineering changes
- Conduct structured problem solving and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
Requirements
- Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in a manufacturing engineering environment
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or APQP
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP)
