CPL Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with our client for a Deputy General Manager on a permanent full-time basis, based in Belfast City Centre. Salary between £45,000 – £50,000 per year along with bonus and staff benefits package. This is an excellent opportunity to work in one of Northern Ireland's best-known hotels, renowned for its luxury and connection to Northern Ireland's storied maritime history, along with the opportunity to work with a fantastic team.
Our client is part of a larger hotel collection with four- and five-star properties across the UK, the Island of Ireland and further afield. Over 35 years in business with a reach in commercial, residential and retail business, employing over 1,000 staff, and experienced in restoring and renovating listed heritage buildings.
The role: With a full copy of the Job Spec available on request, the Deputy General Manager will work hand in hand with the GM, taking on the responsibility to make sure all departments and the wider business are run effectively and efficiently, while also delivering a world-class customer experience.
The person: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. Able to manage, motivate and support a team. Experience in recruitment, absence management, coaching/training, performance, appraisals and driving the highest standards across the hotel. Risk assessment knowledge. Solid history of experience in Hospitality. Excellent communication skills; verbal and written along with excellent negotiation skills. Solid organisational skills, the ability to plan and prioritise and work effectively to deadlines.
On offer: Salary up to £50,000 per year along with a 10% bonus. Comprehensive staff benefit package including hotel discounts.
