Ps Cr Distribution Senior Operator Grade 1 in Armagh

ALMAC CPL have partnered with ALMAC Group to recruit for a Distribution Senior Operator to join their team on a temporary contract.

• Pay Rate: £***** p/h
• Location: ALMAC Global Headquarters, Craigavon
• Benefits: 34 days holiday per annum
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday
• Shift: Days – 08:******:00

OVERALL ROLE OBJECTIVE: The post holder is responsible for carrying out all Ambient material handling and inventory control activities required within a computerised warehouse environment servicing a manufacturing/stores/distribution operation. The post holder will also be responsible for looking after specific functional areas within Pharma Services warehouse facilities.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: The post holder will:

• Fully understand and adhere to the instructions as detailed in the appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure that all activities are carried out in a well organised manner satisfying GMP at all times.
• Ensure correct receipt of all material into the warehouse, the accurate completion of all goods inward documentation and inventory control transactions.
• Ensure correct and timely issue and receipt of all material to and from production and distribution at all times and in line with Dept targets.
• Ensure that all material is labelled, stored correctly and properly protected against damage or deterioration. All stock must be located properly within storage locations being accurately recorded on the relevant systems.
• Ensure that all material received into the warehouse is stored in the appropriate location before and after it is passed by Quality Control personnel.
• Ensure that all relevant paperwork and stock records employed throughout the warehouse are accurately maintained in compliance with current GMP and relevant SOPs.
• Ensure that all computer transactions for which the warehouse has responsibility are carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure that forklift trucks and material handling equipment are used competently. Where formal training is required for the operation of such equipment this will be provided by the company.
• Ensure that the area in which you are working has been cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
• Ensure correct pick and despatch of all material from the warehouse, the accurate completion of all despatch documentation and inventory control transactions.
• Dispose of waste material in accordance with procedure.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), grades A – C OR Significant previous experience in a senior warehouse operator role.
• Current forklift licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach).
• Full clean, unrestricted Class B driving licence.
• Previous experience within a warehouse environment.
• Previous experience of operating a computerised inventory system on a day to day basis (Booking in Orders, stock movements).
