Overview
Label Controller Grade 1 - Almac Clinical Services. CPL have partnered with ALMAC Group to recruit for a Label Controller to join their team on a temporary, ongoing contract.
Location – ALMAC Global Headquarters, Craigavon
Pay Rate – £14.53 per hour + shift premium for Evening (+16.7%) and Night shift (33.3%) roles.
Hours – 37.5 hours per week
Shift
- Days – 07.30 to 15.30 (Monday - Friday)
- Evenings – 15.30 to 23.30 (Monday - Friday)
- Nights – 22:00 to 06:00 (Sunday - Thursday)
Benefits – 34 days holiday per annum
Overall role objective: The postholder is responsible for the printing checking and issuing of randomised and open labels, ancillary labels, distribution labels, leaflets, codebreak cards and pre-printed material (hereafter collectively named printed material).
Responsibilities
- Print approved randomised and open printed material.
- Check approved randomised and open printed material.
- Check Master Label Approvals.
- Prepare pre-printed material.
- Store and control printed material.
- Issue approved printed material to Production.
- Organise workload to comply with scheduled commencement of Production operations.
- Complete and prepare all documentation associated with the printing, checking and control of all printed material.
- Complete monthly production analysis figures e. g. timesheets, logs and reports.
- Escalate any issues with the suitability of labels to their Supervisor as appropriate.
- Collaborate with co-workers.
- Be accountable for performing all tasks to the required standards and within the necessary timeframe in accordance with the relevant SOPs and c GMPs.
- Perform any additional duties as required by the Label Control Manager.
- During periods of high volume work requests this role will require additional coverage beyond normal working hours and it is a condition of your employment that you are able to fulfil this requirement of the role.
Essential requirements
- GCSE English Language and Mathematics at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working with computers
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
- Proven ability to work effectively on own initiative and effectively contribute within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
- Ability to organise, plan and prioritise tasks within a high volume, varied workload whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy in all work undertaken
- High attention to detail
Desirable requirements
- Five GCSE subjects (to include English Language and Mathematics) at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Experience of inspecting material for both accuracy and consistency
- Working within a pharmaceutical production environment
- Experience in a design role, using computerised packages, e. g.- Abode Illustrator
