An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join a growing and dynamic organisation within the engineering and infrastructure sector. Duties:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
- Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Assist with statutory accounts preparation and external audit processes
- Monitor financial performance and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making
- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of financial controls and processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to support operational and commercial objectives
- Provide support with tax compliance, including VAT, PAYE, and customs requirements
- Undertake additional duties as required within the finance function
Criteria:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA)
- 12 years post-qualification experience, ideally within industry
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and adaptable, with an interest in working in a growth-focused environment
