We are recruiting for a strong and experienced Registered Manager to open and lead a brand new 4-bed children’s residential EBD home in the DN9 area of Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident children’s residential leader who has the experience, judgement and resilience to take a new home through registration, build a team and establish a high-quality service from the ground up. The home will support children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs and will be a mixed-gender provision.
Because this is a brand new home and will be operating slightly further away from other homes within the wider group, we are particularly interested in candidates with strong leadership experience, excellent regulatory knowledge and ideally previous experience opening or registering a new children’s home.
The role will involve:
- You will take responsibility for the successful opening, registration and ongoing leadership of the home, ensuring the service is safe, compliant and built around the needs of the young people.
- You will recruit, develop and lead the staff team, manage safeguarding and compliance, develop strong relationships with external professionals and ensure the home is fully operational.
