We are supporting an established children’s residential provider with the recruitment of an experienced Deputy Manager for an EBD home in Greenford. You will support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home, leading shifts, supervising staff and ensuring children receive safe, consistent and nurturing care.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Registered Manager with operational leadership
- Leading shifts and providing guidance to the staff team
- Maintaining high safeguarding and care standards
- Supporting care plans, risk assessments and behaviour-support plans
- Managing incidents, safeguarding concerns and missing-from-care episodes
- Completing audits, reports and regulatory documentation
- Supporting staff supervision, training and performance
- Promoting positive outcomes for children and young people
Requirements
- Recent experience in an Ofsted-regulated children’s residential home
- Experience supporting children with EBD, trauma and challenging behaviour
- Previous Senior or Deputy Manager experience
- Level 3 Residential Childcare as a minimum
- Level 5 qualification completed or in progress is desirable
- Strong safeguarding and leadership knowledge
- Ability to work shifts, weekends and participate in on-call arrangements
- Unrestricted right to work in the UK
