We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join a dedicated palliative care team in Kent. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients with life-limiting conditions, supporting them to achieve the best possible quality of life.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and intervention to patients in palliative care settings, helping to manage symptoms, maintain mobility, and promote comfort and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessments and treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Support patients with complex conditions to optimise mobility, function, and quality of life
- Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide guidance and education to patients, families, and carers
- Contribute to discharge planning and ongoing care pathways
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Previous experience at Band 5 or Band 6 level, ideally within palliative care, oncology, or community settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate, patient-centred approach
- Experience in palliative or end-of-life care
