Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist – Sponsorship Offered. Salary up to £50k

Nottinghamshire

Job Overview:

  • Position: Band 6 (or above) Speech & Language Therapist
  • Setting: Inpatient rehabilitation facility working with adults (aged 18–65) who require complex medical/respiratory care, rehabilitation, or have life-limiting physical conditions
  • Focus Areas: Adult neurology, acquired speech and language disorders, dysphagia management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own caseload of clients with acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, OTs, physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and a SLT assistant
  • Receive supervision from a Consultant Speech and Language Therapist Opportunities to develop or enhance dysphagia competencies and undertake formal training

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree, postgraduate qualification, or professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
