We are opening a brand-new, fully refurbished children's home in a beautiful residential area of Newcastle, designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment for young people with Learning Disabilities (LD). Backed by an established provider with decades of experience supporting children and young people, the service is built around:

The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager (or strong Deputy ready to step up) to take full ownership of this new home. You will:
- Lead the registration process with Ofsted
- Build and develop a high-performing staff team
- Create a safe, stable and nurturing environment
- Drive positive outcomes for children and young people
- Embed a strong culture of safeguarding, compliance and quality care
About You
For Registered Manager applicants:
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager in children's residential care
- At least one Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspection
- Strong knowledge of:
- Children's Homes Regulations 2015
- Safeguarding & compliance
- Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
For Deputy Managers stepping up:
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in a Deputy Manager role
- Strong experience within LD or complex needs settings
- Confident in:
- Leading shifts
- Managing staff
- Supporting inspections
- Ready to take the next step into registration
- Level 3 and or working towards Level 5
