Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join a mainstream secondary school in West London supporting students aged 11–19.

The role involves working within a mainstream educational setting with a general curriculum and sixth form provision, including a strong STEM focus. You will support students with speech, language, and communication needs to help them access learning, develop social communication skills, and achieve educational outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of secondary-aged students with speech and language needs
  • Complete speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualised therapy and support plans
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, families, and the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide strategies to support communication and classroom participation
  • Contribute to EHCP reviews and educational outcomes
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and reports
Requirements
  • HCPC registration
  • Experience working within speech and language therapy, ideally in educational settings
  • Knowledge of adolescent speech, language, and communication needs
  • Ability to work independently within a school environment
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
