You would join an established consultant team and be supported by a nurse endoscopist, endoscopy nurses and IBD specialist nursing support.
The role

- Supporting the development of local pathways, protocols and services
- Working collaboratively with tertiary centres where required
- Opportunities to develop subspecialty interests and private practice
There is no formal GIM on-call commitment, and the post is structured as a minimum 10 PA role, with SPA time included.

This would suit a Consultant Gastroenterologist who is looking for a role with more influence, less bureaucracy and the chance to make a visible impact within a close-knit island healthcare system. You will need to be on the GMC Specialist Register for Gastroenterology, or be within six months of CCT at interview. GIM accreditation would be desirable but is not essential for the post. ERCP experience would also be helpful, but it is not a requirement.
