CPL Healthcare, in partnership with a leading hospital provider, is seeking an experienced and inspiring director of clinical services to oversee clinical services within a hospital setting and help deliver exceptional patient care, safety, and operational excellence. This is a 6-month contract opportunity.
The Role
- You’ll lead multidisciplinary clinical teams, drive quality and governance standards, and work closely with senior leadership to shape strategy, improve patient outcomes, and create an outstanding patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support all clinical services and teams
- Promote a strong culture of patient safety and clinical excellence
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and governance standards
- Drive quality improvement, safeguarding, infection prevention, and risk management
- Coach, develop, and inspire clinical leaders and teams
- Support workforce planning, performance, and service development
- Contribute to hospital strategy and operational leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Nurse (Adult) or equivalent clinical qualification
- Current professional registration (NMC or equivalent)
- Senior clinical leadership experience within healthcare
- Strong understanding of governance, patient safety, and quality improvement
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
- Strategic mindset with the ability to lead change and innovation
