You will play a key role in leading the staff team, maintaining high standards of care, and ensuring compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted expectations. This role would suit someone with strong leadership skills and the ambition to progress toward Registered Manager status in the future. 🧩 Key Responsibilities Support the Registered Manager with the overall management of the home Lead, supervise, and motivate the residential staff team Ensure the delivery of high-quality, child-centred and trauma-informed care Take responsibility for the home in the Registered Manager’s absence Support safeguarding processes, incident management, and regulatory compliance Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and placement stability Support staff training, induction, supervision, and performance management Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to Ofsted inspections and audits Build effective relationships with external professionals, including social workers and commissioners 🎓 Qualifications
