Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join a mainstream secondary school in West London supporting students aged 11–19.
The role involves working within a mainstream educational setting with a general curriculum and sixth form provision, including a strong STEM focus. You will support students with speech, language, and communication needs to help them access learning, develop social communication skills, and achieve educational outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of secondary-aged students with speech and language needs
- Complete speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualised therapy and support plans
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, families, and the multidisciplinary team
- Provide strategies to support communication and classroom participation
- Contribute to EHCP reviews and educational outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical records and reports
Requirements
- HCPC registration
- Experience working within speech and language therapy, ideally in educational settings
- Knowledge of adolescent speech, language, and communication needs
- Ability to work independently within a school environment
