An established, 7-bed therapeutic children’s home in Bradford, currently rated Outstanding, is seeking an experienced and driven Registered Manager to continue its exceptional standards and lead a high-performing team.
The home supports children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), delivering structured, trauma-informed care in line with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
As Registered Manager, you will:
- Maintain and develop Outstanding standards in line with Ofsted regulations
- Ensure high-quality care planning, safeguarding and risk management
- Oversee safer recruitment and staff performance management
- Drive continuous improvement and quality assurance processes
- Liaise with Local Authorities, parents/carers and external professionals
Recent EBD residential experience as a Registered Manager is essential – candidates without this will not be considered.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People’s Residential) – or already enrolled and near completion – is essential.
Have at least 2 years’ experience in a leadership role within a children’s residential setting.
Have strong working knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.
Demonstrate experience managing safeguarding investigations and Ofsted inspections.
Be resilient, child-focused and confident leading high-risk behaviours.
£63,000 – £73,000 basic salary (depending on experience) + Performance-related bonuses.
