Job Title: Band 8a Medicines Information Pharmacist Location: London/Essex Contract Type: Locum (Temporary) Salary: £39ph Hours: Full-time/Part-time (Flexible working hours available) Start Date: ASAP About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medicines Information Pharmacist to join one of our clients on a locum basis. As a Band 8a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and support on the safe and effective use of medicines to healthcare professionals and patients. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive medicines information and advice to healthcare professionals and patients. Support clinical decision-making by offering evidence-based recommendations. Conduct critical appraisals of medical literature and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines. Participate in the training and education of pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and professional standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care. May required to carry out some clinical ward work when required. Requirements: Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Significant experience in a Medicines Information role, preferably at Band 8a level. Must have previous NHS experience within an acute setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to continuous professional development.
