Pharmacovigilance Specialist β UK & Ireland
Cpl Life Sciences are working with an established pharmaceutical business that is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Specialist to join its team, supporting the delivery of high-quality pharmacovigilance activities across the UK and Ireland.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PV professional to join a pharmaceutical environment where you will play an important role in ensuring the effective management of safety information and compliance with applicable pharmacovigilance requirements.
Overview:
-Β£25-35 per hour PAYE
-Hybrid working in Berkshire (2-3 days per week on site)
-Initial 9 month contract
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Pharmacovigilance activities, including the end-to-end handling and processing of safety reports at affiliate level.
Process individual case safety reports accurately and within required timelines using a safety database.
Support compliance with UK and Ireland Pharmacovigilance requirements and relevant post-Brexit regulatory changes.
Contribute to post-authorisation Pharmacovigilance activities for medicinal products.
Ensure safety cases and associated documentation are maintained to a high standard.
Work closely with the PV Manager and wider internal stakeholders to support ongoing safety activities.
Manage competing priorities effectively while maintaining accuracy and meeting regulatory deadlines.
Experience & Skills Required:
Experience managing safety reports through an end-to-end process at affiliate level.
Experience within a pharmaceutical or life sciences environment.
A degree in a relevant scientific discipline is preferred.
Good knowledge of post-authorisation requirements for medicinal products.
Understanding of post-Brexit Pharmacovigilance regulations impacting the UK and Ireland.
Experience with ARGUS at UK affiliate level would be advantageous but is not essential.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
