Distribution Associate – Temporary contract. Pay Rate: £15.32 p/h plus applicable shift premium (33%). Location: ALMAC Global Headquarters, Craigavon. Benefits: 34 days holiday per annum. Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Sunday to Friday). Shift: Night – 00:00 to 08:00.
Responsibilities
- Undertake all assigned duties in accordance with GMP and SOPs, reporting deviations to the Distribution Supervisor and/or Distribution Team Leader.
- Ensure all Distribution activities are completed in accordance with approved documentation to support each distribution program.
- Perform and maintain computer transactions in line with distribution and material control systems.
- Prepare the associated shipping documentation required for Project and Ancillary shipments in accordance with relevant SOPs, protocol-specific GDS or shipment-specific DSS, courier and customs regulations.
- Generate shipment invoices, e‑Cert documents (CofO, EUR1, ATR‑1 forms, etc.) and any other country‑specific documents/declarations for each shipment.
- Perform independent reviews of associated shipping documentation required for each dispatch in accordance with relevant SOPs, protocol-specific GDS or shipment-specific DSS, courier and customs regulations.
- Track and trace outbound shipments with couriers following dispatch to ensure they have been or will be delivered on time, highlighting exceptions to the relevant DC and Project contacts for follow-up.
- Liaise with couriers regarding quotations, timelines, collections, onward shipping details and proof of delivery (POD).
- Collate and file associated shipping documentation for each shipment ensuring that all necessary actions and tasks have been completed.
- Carry out administrative duties such as photocopying, filing and archiving of distribution documentation.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a busy office environment, especially in relation to archiving and filing.
- Experience using computerized systems.
- GCSE in five subject areas at Grade C or above, including Maths and English (or equivalent).
