This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in clinical research, pharmaceutical/medical administration, project coordination or a regulated environment who is looking to develop their career within the pharmaceutical industry.
The Role
As an IIR Associate, you will help coordinate and monitor Investigator Initiated Research (IIR) studies across a number of countries. You will work closely with internal teams, investigators, affiliates and other business partners to make sure studies remain on track, compliant and well documented.

- Coordinate the progress of ongoing Investigator Initiated Research studies.
- Track study milestones, timelines, enrolment and deliverables.
- Support the creation, negotiation and amendment of contracts and agreements.
- Monitor budgets, purchase orders, invoices and financial milestones.
- Maintain accurate study records and ensure documentation is kept up to date.
- Ensure study information is accurately maintained within relevant systems and portals.
- Support regulatory and compliance activities, including ensuring the correct documentation is available before study activities begin.
- Coordinate drug supply requests and assist with forecasting and planning.
- Organise meetings with investigators and internal teams and follow up on agreed actions.
- Identify potential delays or issues and escalate them appropriately.
- Support studies through to completion, ensuring final reports, publications and documentation are received and correctly archived.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in line with relevant company policies, procedures and quality standards.
About You
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and confident working with different stakeholders.
Ideally, you will have:
- A degree, preferably in a scientific or healthcare-related subject, or around two years' relevant clinical research experience.
- Experience working in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical, healthcare, clinical research or a similar sector.
- Some experience with contracts, purchase orders, invoices or financial administration.
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and stakeholders.
- Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to documentation.
- Confidence using Excel and other project/administrative systems.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
