  • Duration: 12 months
  • The company is looking for a talented, motivated and trilingual Social Media Specialist (French, English and German required) to join their Europe Social & Content team.
  • This role will support social media execution across four key European markets, Germany, the United Kingdom, France and the Nordics, with a primary focus on Instagram, Facebook and Threads.
  • You will sit at the intersection of regional execution and global strategy, working in close partnership with the company’s pan-regional agency, the Global Social team and local market stakeholders.
  • This is a hands-on, cross-functional role requiring strong content creation skills, excellent collaboration, and the ability to develop locally relevant content informed by performance insights and audience behaviour.
  • This position reports to the European Social & Digital Team Lead, with a dotted line to the Global Social Lead, and is open to candidates based in London or Dublin

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Regional social media execution

  • Support the day-to-day management of the company’s Instagram, Facebook and Threads presence across Germany, the UK, France and the Nordics, ensuring content is locally relevant, on-brand and aligned with established social media strategies.
  • Support community management across key European markets, including monitoring audience interactions, drafting or coordinating responses where appropriate, and escalating sensitive issues in line with guidance.
  • Help craft social media plans and content calendars across assigned markets, supporting the delivery of regional and global social media objectives.
  • Localise and adapt global campaign content for regional audiences, tailoring messaging, language and formats to maximise local relevance and engagement.
  • Monitor social trends, cultural moments and platform developments across target markets, proactively identifying opportunities and sharing recommendations with the Europe and Global Social teams.
  • Support the planning and execution of local social media activations, partnerships and market-specific opportunities.
  • Maintain content calendars and coordinate publishing schedules across assigned channels and markets.

Content creation

  • Create and produce compelling, high-quality, strong, relevant and trend-led content for Instagram and Facebook - including static posts, Stories, Reels and short-form video, using tools such as Canva or similar approved creative tools.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including Marketing, Communications, Creative, Legal and Product teams
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all markets, working within the established design system and content guidelines
  • Bring a creator mindset to every brief, with a strong instinct for what performs natively on each platform
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose and adapt existing global and regional content to maximize local relevance and engagement.

Stakeholder coordination & collaboration

  • Coordinate with the company’s pan-regional social media agency to support content delivery, publishing schedules and day-to-day workflow management.
  • Collaborate with regional and global social media teams to ensure content aligns with established brand guidelines, campaign objectives and local market requirements.
  • Support the execution of social media activations in partnership with internal stakeholders, agency partners and external organisations.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal teams and external partners to facilitate the timely delivery of social media content and campaigns.

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Work closely with the Global Social & Content team to ensure regional execution aligns with the global content calendar and editorial vision
  • Partner with regional marketing, PR, and business teams to identify and capitalize on culturally relevant moments and product launches
  • Coordinate with global social agency on the activation of global social campaigns across Europe key markets
  • Contribute to the development of global content series and campaigns, bringing a European market perspective

Reporting & Analytics

  • Monitor and track social media performance across Instagram and Facebook channels in Germany, the UK, France and the Nordics, supporting monthly and quarterly reporting activities.
  • Analyse content performance and audience engagement metrics, identifying trends and sharing insights with regional and global social media teams.
  • Support the evaluation of content effectiveness and contribute recommendations to help inform future social media activities.
  • Share market observations, platform developments and content learnings with regional and global teams to support ongoing best-practice development.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in social media management
  • Experience working with a global brand in a regional, local market or multi-country social media role.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram and Facebook, including content formats, platform features, audience engagement and social media best practices.
  • Experience creating and adapting social media content, including static posts, Stories, Reels and short-form video - both independently and in collaboration with creative teams.
  • Experience creating strong, relevant and trend-led social content using Canva or similar creative production tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to localise content and tailor messaging for different audiences and markets.
  • Excellent copywriting and written communication skills in English, German and French, with the ability to adapt content for local audiences and manage social media interactions across multiple European markets.
  • Strong verbal communication skills in English are required.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, agencies and external partners in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across markets.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media performance data and identify actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with social media publishing, community management and analytics tools (e. g. Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Meta Business Suite or similar).
  • Experience localising and adapting social media content for multiple languages and audiences.
  • Understanding of content localisation, transcreation and cultural adaptation for European markets.
  • Background in entertainment, sports, automotive indistries (big brand experience preferred) is a plus.
  • Background working with premium technology, audio, or visual experience brands is a plus
