Hybrid role split roughly 50/50 between:
- Service Operative: 4 day week – 38 hours per week, 9.5hrs per day (Monday – Thursday). Must have a MANUAL driving licence. Working nationwide with overnight stays. Report for work Monday morning 7am, Service team travel together in works van to hospital site, travel back Thursday afternoon, finish 5pm. Exchanging old curtains for new curtains in hospitals. Overnight stay inconvenience payment £25 per night. Overnight stays include Evening meal and breakfast (Premier Inn). Occasionally Overtime – weekday and Saturday paid @ 1.5x, Sundays paid at 2x.
- Warehouse Operative: 5 Day week – 38 hours per week. Desirable to have counterbalance Forklift licence – (willing to send on training course if the right person). Shift times - whilst training 7:00am – 3:00pm, when trained 9:00am – 5:00pm. Data entry and Order progression on company ERP system. Goods In – Receiving, physical and data entry on ERP system. Goods In Inspections. Goods out – Dispatching finished goods. Booking Couriers using online portals. Occasionally Overtime – weekday and Saturday paid @ 1.5x, Sundays paid at 2x.
The Service / Warehouse Operative is responsible for the delivery of services and projects at hospital sites nationwide. This includes installations, exchanges, surveys, trials, and adaptations. This role ensures that all services are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance, whilst maintaining excellent communication with colleagues and customers. Closely liaising with customers and engaging in problem solving with hands-on involvement every day. The Service / Warehouse Operative plays a central role in upholding service standards, supporting business growth, driving continuous improvement, and strengthening the companies reputation for reliability and professionalism. The Service / Warehouse Operative will provide valuable assistance to the Distribution Production Planner role. Supporting on a daily basis and providing holiday cover for all warehouse duties with the exception of production planning.
- Service Oversight:
- Delivery of all service jobs ensuring tasks are performed effectively and completed on time.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers when on site working alone resolving issues promptly.
- Ensure all work comply with the companies quality standards, customer requirements, and health collate and share recycling data internally.
- Ensure Waste Transfer Notes and all environmental documentation are valid, accurate, and compliant with current regulations.
